City gets 2nd DNA lab

LAHORE: Jinnah Hospital has recently introduced diagnostic facilities like DNA testing and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), said hospital sources on Thursday. "Jinnah hospital is the only government hospital and the second institution in Punjab equipped with the DNA testing facility after the Centre of Excellence for Molecular Biology," sources said. They said the PCR testing facility was available in private hospitals but poor people could afford it as it was very expensive. staff report
